Girasole Designs specializes in handmade quilts and quilted goods ranging from very traditional to contemporary. While certain fabrics are gathered from the wordly travels of family and friends, an emphasis is made on sourcing materials from local Maine retailers. Vintage materials and fine fabrics scraps recycled from local manufacturers find happy homes in many quilts. Thanks for visiting the site!
About The Designer
Kimberly Robichaud, a Maine native, began quilting nearly seven years ago while working on her computer science degree at Middlebury College, VT. Since graduation, she has returned to Maine to teach, climb, quilt and enjoy life with her family and her beautiful twin boys!
